Members of two Crusader student organizations, Profit Ninjas and the Healthy Heart Club, recently celebrated the grand opening of the Profit Ninjas vending business inside the school. The two clubs joined forces to provide a healthy snack vending machine that is available to students at any time of day. 

 

The launch of their business was nearly a year in the making. It was a true student initiative that allowed participants to learn about the business field. Students started with concept and worked through researching government regulations, did market research, priced products, negotiated bids, purchased stock, launched a school marketing campaign, and are overseeing accounting.  

 

The Profit Ninjas are not stopping with just healthy snacks, they have an additional vending machine on site for school supplies which they will launch in the fall. Profit Ninjas is just one way Central Catholic students have the opportunity to learn about business and potential career fields. In addition to this student organization, students can take courses in business, personal finance, accounting, marketing, graphic design, multimedia art, coding, computer science, game design, data science, cybersecurity, AI, and virtual reality. Central Catholic is pleased to offer an ever-expanding list of courses that help to prepare graduates for success along both the career and collegiate paths.
