Congratulations to, Central Catholic Seniors, Barrett Scheatzle and Blake Abbott, who were awarded the Diocese of Youngstown Eagle of the Cross Award.

The Eagle of the Cross Award is given each year to extraordinary high school upperclassmen that demonstrate dedication, integrity, and strong values. Nominees show commitment through involvement in their parish, school and community. This year, 21 students from across the Diocese of Youngstown and six Catholic high schools were given this distinction. Barrett and Blake were presented their awards earlier this month from our new Bishop the Most Reverend David J. Bonnar.
