Performing Arts
Learning to stand up, perform, and share your talents with others is not an easy task but we believe those opportunities help prepare our students for successful futures. Many of our students have great talent and passion for performance and we offer a growing number of opportunities for them.
Individual School Performance Opportunities
Many of our schools offer their own theatre experiences such as kinder-drama programs, elementary theatre troupes, middle school theatre companies, high school drama clubs, and high school musical companies.
Stark County Catholic High Schools Theatre Program
Beginning in 2017, Central Catholic and St. Thomas Aquinas High Schools joined together to launch a full musical, under the direction of professional theatre experts, on the stage of the Canton Palace Theatre. A highlight of this experience is that in addition to the performance of the show for the public, students in our elementary schools are treated to a special, private performances which includes a question and answer of our cast and crew after the show.
